Jonam Composites also run material trials for manufacturers.
We can run process trials on your new polymer grade with a wide range of reinforcement fibres: E-glass, S2type glass, carbon and aramid. Feedback on processability and any requirements for additives will be provided. Samples in the form of rod or prepreg sheet for testing in our facility or your own can be produced.
We can also run trials on new fibre grades. We can use polymers from those with low melt temperature, such as Polycaprolactones, to high temperature polymers such as PPS and PEEK.
We can also pultrude comingled fibres for evaluation.
